Bachmann, Gresley V2 Class 2-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No. 60834 in British Railways lined black. The tender carries the early lion over wheel emblem and the model has been factory weathered. It is difficult to say whether it has been used or not I would say probably lightly but it is unmarked and clean. It is a good example. Condition is B+ in a B+ box. This version has the stepped tender and was released in 2004.

Bachmann, Gresley J39 Class 0-6-0 Tender Locomotive, No.64967 in British Railways plain unlined black livery with the later style BR emblem. Released in 1994 only, this model has been in the wars slightly - I would think that it may have been dropped as the edge of the cab roof on the driver's side is damaged and subsequently repaired, but looking down from the top the glue repair can be seen. Apart from that it is in reasonable condition, perhaps a little dusty. The model is still perfectly useable notwithstanding the small amount of damage to the cab roof. Condition is B-. Comes in an original box, which is in condition B, and instructions and unused detailing parts.

Bachmann, 78XX Manor Class 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No. 7802 "Bradley Manor". Loco is in "GWR" unlined green livery. It was made for a single year in 1991. Model is in reasonable condition, it has a lamp on the front buffer beam. It is clean, tidy, actually unmarked. It looks very nice, the only point I would raise is that underneath on the back of the chassis on the cab there is like a brake hanger which is broken on one side, the part is still there it just needs to be reattached but it doesn't detract and you can't see it. Overall condition is B or perhaps a little better, B to B+ possibly. It comes in part of an original box, the inner packaging only.

The model has been used - and there is a little mark to the top of the boiler, which looks like paper has stuck to it and then been removed leaving a little residue. It's almost the same colour as the maroon body, but it can be seen from above. The mark might come off - but I've tried and I can't remove it. Condition therefore is a good solid B, but would be a lot better without the mark. Box condition is B.

Bachmann, a Special Presentation set of 2 A4 Locomotives , released to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of the 'Steam' World Speed Record attained on July 3rd 1938. The set contains two models of 'Mallard' , running as 60022 ' Mallard ' in British Railways green livery with late crest, with corridor chimney, loco has the speed plaque. The 2nd version is 'Mallard' as she was at the time of the speed attempt, in LNER blue with full valances and non-corridor tender.

The contents are unused, condition A- comes with a Limited Edition certificate No 352 of 1000, instructions, guarantee slip unused detailing parts and a set of unused etched metal nameplates. The set is in a wooden presentation box Condition A- , all in the outer cardboard box.

Bachmann, "The Elizabethan". This is a special limited edition set from Bachmann, comprising an A4 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.60017 "Silver Fox" in British Railways lined green livery with late crest to the tender. The loco has a double chimney and the tender is the corridor type. Along with the loco are six Thompson ex-LNER coaches, consisting of a Brake End no.E1161E, a Composite no.E1609E, a further Composite no.E1600E, a 1st no.E1328E, a Full Parcels Brake no.E12E, and finally a further Composite no.E1516E. All six coaches are in British Railways lined maroon livery. In addition to the rolling stock, there is a book 'From the Footplate of the Elizabethan', a video 'The Elizabethan', one unopened detail pack- a set of instructions, and limited edition certificate no.907 of a run of 1,000. The entire ensemble is in a lovely wooden case constructed specially to carry this set (there are two versions of the case: one with dark lacquer, the other with light lacquer. This example has the dark finish lacquer). - The loco has had its set of etched metal nameplates, works plates, 'Silver Fox' crests and headboards fitted ( apart from one of the works plates, which has a little glue mark, all the rest have been fitted well ) I would grade all the contents as B to B+ , and the box as B+ to A-. The box also comes in its original outer cardboard box, making a really nice set.

I can't quite make my mind up about this one, the model is supplied with etched metal plates which haven't been used but it looks to me like etched metal plates have been fitted to the loco. They have not been fitted too badly, there is when held against the light, very very slight trace of glue or at least something showing to the edge of the plate. The model is clean and tidy, it perhaps has been handled a couple of times but certainly doesn't appear to have been run. Condition is B to B+. The box is A-.

Model has been reasonably well used, the crew have been fitted to the footplate. There is one or two spots of glue residue to the rear of the footplate but that can't be seen of course because it is up against the tender. There is some kind of either dirt of blemish to the smoke box near the handrail on the locomotive and similarly on the tender as well. I am not sure whether this will clean off or not. Lets make the assumption that it won't, with the exception of that a nice model. Condition is a reasonable B, possibly better. Box is a B to B+. The model does come with instructions and a guarantee slip.
