There are a couple of unopened detail packs, however it is missing its guarantee slip and instructions. It might have been used very lightly, but I would grade it as a B+ to A- anyway. Box condition is B+.

Bachmann, War Department Austerity 2-8-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.90732 "Vulcan" in British Railways plain unlined black with the early lion-over-wheel emblem to the tender. Coal has been added to the tender and PVA glue has been used to secure it. From certain angles, bits of the glue can be seen, which show as a pale cream colour. I understand that warm water should dissolve the PVA and the coal would then become removable. The model has been lightly used, but is in generally nice, unmarked condition. It comes with instructions and some unused detailing parts. Condition of the loco is B+. Tender condition, because of the coal, is in condition B. Box condition is B to B+.

The model is brand new, unused, not removed from its packaging, condition is A. The box is A also. What makes this particular model slightly different it is a special release by the National Railway Museum. I am not entirely sure whether there is any detailed differences with the model, I have got a feeling they could be a small difference to the tender. However, it is a special limited edition, the model comes with a certificate No. 34 of a run of just 50 pieces. The original Bachmann box is displayed inside a wooden display box which is finished in dark lacquer. The wooden box is condition A. It comes in its original outer cardboard box. Very nice item.
