Bachmann, Rebuilt Royal Scot Class 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.46103 "Royal Scots Fusilier" in British Railways lined passenger green with the later style BR emblem to the tender. This model has been re-named with etched metal nameplates, re-numbered, weathered and re-painted. It has a Hornby Stanier-style tender - the later style. It also has screw-link couplings to the front of the loco, crew have been fitted to the footplate, and backhead detail has been picked out. The cylinder drainpipes on one side have come off, but they are inside the box and could be re-applied. All-in-all, a superb model. Condition is B+. The weathering is only very light on this particular example. Screw-link couplings have been fitted to the tender and wire bar style couplings have also been fitted, which are very inconspicuous. It's a lovely little loco - and the detailing and weathering have enhanced it. Condition is B+. Box condition is B+. Comes with instructions, guarantee slip and a quantity of unused detailing parts. The DCC unit has apparently been disconnected for some reason on this model.

This is a limited edition model which was manufactured in 1999. With a production run of only 350 sets, it's a quite a rarity. The set comes with its limited edition certificate number 248 Also included is a pair of etched metal nameplates for both locos and also a pair of etched metal train headboards "The Mancunian" - one in red and one in black. There are two unopened detail packs accompanying the locos.The loco's have matching metal plaque to the chassis number 248 . Condition: the locos appear to have been lightly used - I would grade them as B+ to A-. The set comes in an attractive wooden presentation case, which is condition A and the outer box is contained in a cardboard sleeve with an attractive pictorial representation of "The Mancunian" train. Overall, a beautiful set,, with outer cardboard box.

This is a special limited edition set from Bachmann, comprising an A4 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.60017 "Silver Fox" in British Railways lined green livery with late crest to the tender. The loco has a double chimney and the tender is the corridor type. Along with the loco are six Thompson ex-LNER coaches, consisting of a Brake End no.E1161E, a Composite no.E1609E, a further Composite no.E1600E, a 1st no.E1328E, a Full Parcels Brake no.E12E, and finally a further Composite no.E1516E. All six coaches are in British Railways lined maroon livery. In addition to the rolling stock, there is a book 'From the Footplate of the Elizabethan', a video 'The Elizabethan', four unopened detail packs - a set of etched metal nameplates, works plates, 'Silver Fox' crests and headboards (all unused), a set of instructions, and limited edition certificate no.198 of a run of 1,000. The entire ensemble is in a lovely wooden case constructed specially to carry this set (there are two versions of the case: one with dark lacquer, the other with light lacquer. This example has the dark finish lacquer). Everything is in unused condition - I would grade all the contents as A- to A, and the box as B+ to A-. The box also comes in its original outer cardboard box, making a really nice set.

Bachmann, Class J72 Ex LNER 0-6-0 Tank Locomotive, No. 68737 in British Railways plain grey livery with early lion over wheel emblem. I am slightly curious of this one, the paintwork looks like it has been weathered, it certainly been matted off and looks a bit on the grubby side. On test the locomotive ran very smoothly and quietly with the exception of smoke pouring out of the cab, there is obviously something very wrong with the motor so it is sold as a none runner. It comes in an original box with a set of instructions and some unused detailing parts. Condition is B. Box is B.
