Dinky Super Toys 973.Dinky Super Toys 973. Ref: DIN50003a
Dinky, From the Super Toys range of Post War Accessories this is "Goods Yard Crane" with hoisting, slewing and jib raising movements. It has a blue base and a yellow jib and mechanism. It was made from 1954 through to 1959. This one has a Mazak base and there are steps cast into it which makes it one of the earlier editions. It is complete however one of the ropes has parted and would need to be reattached which is no great thing. There is a tiny amount of surface rust to the shafts on the handles, with the exception of that it is a reasonably tidy example, I would grade it as a good condition B. The base is still actually quite bright, it is blue. It comes with part of its original box, it comes with the lid with all the illustrations etc., a little bit of crush damage to one corner but the corners themselves are all intact, condition is B.

Dinky, A pair of AEC/Regent Double Decker Buses, one in green with cream top and one in red with cream top. Both vehicles do not have the model number cast into the base and have the same coloured wheel hoods as the main colour of the vehicle. On the red one, one of the tyres has been destroyed and would need replacing. The green bus is in better condition that the red, they are both play worn and the advertising hoardings they once carried are long gone. Condition of the green one is probably a good B, there are a few chippings but the paint finish is relatively smooth. The red one hasn't faired quite as well, condition is B-.

Dinky, 7mm or O Gauge EV Truck in light blue with driver in buff livery. It is a play worn example, one of the axles have been bent, there is paint loss but it is intact. It has got a towing hook and the driver is intact. Included with the vehicle, which is a flatbed sort of station trolley thing, are two milk churns and a canister of Esso oil.
