They have the remains of paper coach boards, which read 'The Talisman Kings Cross Edinburgh'. They have both had quite a hard life and have plenty of scratches. Condition is B.

Hornby Dublo, a pair of tinplate Stanier Brake 3rd Coaches, both numbered 26133 in LMS lined maroon livery. There are two shades of maroon on the Dublo coaches - this is the earlier darker shade with the almost-black roof. They are both fitted with plastic wheels. I'd guess that they were made between 1948 and 1949. Condition is reasonable - the roofs have one or two little nicks to them and the body sides on one of the coaches has quite a severe loss of paint about 5mm long, while the other coach is actually quite tidy.

Hornby Dublo, a pair of unboxed early tinplate LMS Mainline Coaches, comprising a Brake 3rd no.26133 in LMS lined maroon and a Corridor Composite no.4183 in LMS lined maroon. Both are in the darker shade of maroon with black or very dark roofs and plastic wheels. The composite is in quite nice condition, although there is quite a bad scratch to the roof and one or two small nicks to the paintwork here and there. But overall, it looks quite sharp. I would grade its condition as B. The brake is in similar condition, with one or two nicks here and there, and is a little battered on one side. Condition is B-.

Hornby Dublo, British Railways Brake 2nd Corridor Coach, No. S35001 in British Railways Southern region green livery. This vehicle is a tinplate sided coach, from the super detail range. Very attractive, it is one of the rarer export models stamped up 4205 Export on the end of the box at both ends. The coach itself has been used, there is a little bit of a blemish on one side near the running number where I think the surface of the lithograph work has started to mark, its about 1cm diameter. The rest of the vehicle is scratch free and very clean. The roof could do with a bit of a clean, it is a bit on the grubby side but not bad. Condition is B to B+ in a B to B+ box.

The model has been well used and there are two or three rust spots on the roof and plenty of finger marks. Condition is B. Bit of a curious model really, it is in completely brand new condition except that the coach sides have been resprayed in plain olive green. It has been done to a high standard, I believe they have been spray finished so it is a very uniformed job. They were probably maroon coaches that have been resprayed in green possibly. Condition is B+ to A-. It has seen virtually no use. The coach ends are in good condition. It is unboxed. The coaches have no interiors, I am not entirely sure whether that is right or wrong.

There is some marks also where the coach connectors would perhaps have been fitted at some point but apart from that not a bad example. Condition is a good B.
