Exley, 0 gauge (7mm) Centre Corridor 3rd Brake End 57ft Stanier Coach, No.5545 in LMS lined maroon livery. While the Exley sticker seems to have come off the bottom of the coach, there are all the hallmarks of an Exley product. It has the V shape scretchers on the bogies, a wooden floor, hook style couplings and flexible coach connectors and of course the brake end has the two windows at the back of the coach. It has the painted-on window ventilators which helps to date the coach and is in very tidy condition, with the exception of some damage to the roof at one end of the coach. I imagine that something has been dropped on it or weighed heavily on it causing an indentation about 4" long. The roof is made out of aluminium, so I would image that it would be a relatively easy task to form this back into its original shape - it's well worth the effort. It's got a nice interior, the glazing is nice and tight and the paint on the side looks nice and fresh. It's unboxed.
