DJH, 7mm O Gauge Model of a Class 40 1-Co-Co-1 Diesel Electric Type 4 Locomotive, No. D216 "Campania". Locomotive is finished in British Railways green livery with small yellow warning panels and cant rail white body stripe. The model is fitted with the disk type reporting system. It is a white metal kit with two power bogies built by David Southwell of Staffordshire. An extremely heavy well made well painted model with simply a wealth of detail, the cab really is magnificent. The drivers window is pulled down to sort of half open and the interior can be seen clearly with all the controls, drivers seat etc. There is speedo cables, all the draw bar detail is present. All in all a beautiful model. More photographs can be supplied on request. It comes in the original DJH box.

Fine Scale O Gauge LocomotiveFine Scale O Gauge Locomotive Ref: OFIN100018
Fine Scale, O gauge or 7mm, Class 17 Bo-Bo Diesel electric Type 1 Locomotive, No.D8536 in the distinctive British Railways two-tone green livery with the later style BR emblem. The model carries small yellow warning panels and headcodes that read 7S59 and 4F43. It is fitted with two Japanese motors - one to each power bogie - and has bi-directional lights. The loco runs well, if a little slowly and quite noisily - so maybe a little lubrication would help. The model has been finished to a reasonably good standard, although the paint finish could do with slight attention here and there - there's a bit of crazing on the cab doors. It has screw-link couplings. I would grade its condition as a good B. It is however unboxed.
Price: £525.00 / $992.25

Finescale O Gauge Locomotive, 7mm Gauge O Finescale Model of a Ivett C1 Class 4-4-2 Atlantic Locomotive and Tender, No. 3284 in LNER lined Doncaster green livery. It is a fine model looking at it I wouldn't be surprised if it was scratch built. It has got proper frame stretches which are painted in red on the inside of the loco, it has got brake gear, sanding gear. It is fitted with a brand new motor and gear box and it has got nice back head detail. The loco is lined out, the chassis is lined out in red on black. The tender which is a Great Northern style tender with coal rail has got real coal. It has got sprung buffers, chain link couplings and the cab doors open. All in all a lovely looking loco. Good performer, recently painted by David Southwell.
Price: £695.00 / $1,313.55

RJH, 7mm Gauge O Model of a Brush Class 31 A-1-A Diesel Electric Type 2 Locomotive, No. D5623 in British Railways green livery. The model has small yellow warning panels and two white body stripes. It is fitted with two power bogies fitted with Delrin drive units. It has sprung buffers, plenty of detail, screw link couplings etc. It has been made to a reasonable standard. There is no cab detail which was something that perhaps could be looked at at a later date I suppose. It has nice etched grilles to the body sides. The head code boxes are painted in black which probably would be enhanced with head code numerals. Model has been used, one or two handling marks, some improvements could be made but the overall impression is of a good tidy ready to run model. Condition is a good B, possibly B to B+. It comes in an original box.
Price: £425.00 / $803.25

O Gauge, 7mm Gauge O Model of a 3F Jinty 0-6-0 Tank Locomotive, No. 47348 in British Railways plain unlined black. The loco carries the early lion over wheel emblem. Not the best version of this loco I have come across. It is fitted with a reasonable motor and has screw link couplings, sprung buffers, back pipes etc. Reasonable back head detail, coal in the bunker. The actual construction is not the running board appears to be slightly out of true when viewed from the side. I think the tanks are also slightly out of true as well but as a starter locomotive it is perfect. The paint finish is reasonable. I would grade the whole thing as a B. It comes in a none original box.
Price: £145.00 / $274.05

Finescale O Gauge, 7mm Gauge O Finescale Model of a Robinson C13 Ex ~Great Central Railway Class 9K 4-4-2 Tank Locomotive, No. 67439 in British Railways black. The loco carries the early lion over wheel emblem. It is a handsome elegant looking tank with long boiler and running plate. Finished to a good standard with coal in the tender. It has limited back head detail however it has got chain link couplings and sprung buffers, brake and sanding gear. Easily a B+ in condition. It comes in a none original box. The Robinson C13's were built in four batches between 1903 and 1905. Constructed for both suburban and branchline passenger work being transferred to Gorton in 1935 working on Manchester Suburban Services. They survived well in to British Railways ownership. The last example 67417 was withdrawn from Gorton in 1960.

This is a good model, with a good reputation. It comes with chain link couplings and sprung buffers and a really good level of detail. It has been used lightly, there is no coal in the bunker which could be something to be added later. Fitted with all the appropriate lamp irons, brake rigging etc. and sand pipes. Nice model all round, condition is B+ to A- in a B box.

O Gauge, 7mm Gauge O Finescale Model of a GWR 14XX 0-4-2 Tank Locomotive, No. 1450 in GWR plain green livery. This is a heavy weight white metal model of a popular GWR tank. It has been finished to a high standard of detail with an absolutely fabulous back head detail with every control represented and picked out in the appropriate brass copper colours etc. The bunker has coal. The model has sprung buffers, back pipes, screw link couplings. There is a wealth of small detail fitted to the model including lamp irons, whistle etc. There is sanding gear to the wheels plus brake gear. Model has a removable roof. A couple of points, looking at the rear of the cab bunker area there should be four lamp irons in a row, one of which is missing leaving a small patch of base metal showing through which would need to be touched up. There is also a little bit of red paint missing from the rear buffer beam, again just a small touch up. There are a number of steps on the loco, one of which unfortunately has broken off. It is in the box and would need to be reattached. Overall condition is B to B+. It comes in a none original box. I would grade the model as a good B to B+. The rear wheels are compensated.
Price: £450.00 / $850.50

It comes complete with sprung buffers, coal rail, coal in bunker, screw link couplings, Vac pipes. O Gauge Fine ScaleO Gauge Fine Scale Ref: OFIN100060
O gauge, a fine scale model of a 4MT Standard 2-6-4 Tank Locomotive, No.80127 in British Railways lined black livery with the later style BR emblem to the tank sides. Model is fitted with a 9A shed plate. There are screw-link couplings to the front, while the rear just has a hook. The model is in full working order - it has been tested. At some point it has possibly been wired for sound, and there is a speaker fitted which has wires attached. So it may be possible to chip this loco by putting a sound card in. It is fitted with a Machima motor. There is a reasonable level of detail. It has been heavily weathered and the motion has been dirtied up. The whole loco looks particularly grubby. It has been built to a reasonable standard, although personally I think the paint finish is a little on the heavy side. The steps to the rear of the loco have come off at some point and been re-attached leaving a glue residue. The buffers are non-sprung. Condition is B- to B. Model is boxed, but not in its original box.
Price: £425.00 / $803.25

O Gauge, 7mm Gauge O Fine Scale Model of a Fowler 3F Jinty 0-6-0 Tank Locomotive, No. 47558. The model is finished in plain British Railways black livery with small lion over wheel early style emblem. The model has been constructed from brass by the look of it. It has been made to a reasonable standard. It is fitted with vacuum pipes and sprung metal buffers. It has recently been fitted with a new motor, it is a good runner. There is currently no couplings fitted to the model. There is a whole in the buffer beams so I am guessing a hook and door chain link coupling or screw link coupling would be easily applied. One or two small points where some of the smaller parts have been applied. There was glue residue and it has been painted over so it can be seen sort of under the paint. It doesn't detract from the model in any way. It is actually quite a clean and tidy example, finished to a reasonable standard. Condition is a good B. It is unboxed. On the rear bunker there is a series of holes, these will be for lamp irons or steps which have not been fitted, again an easy thing to add extra detail to.

Right Price, 7mm O gauge finescale model of a Gresley V2 Class 2-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.60800 "Green Arrow" in British Railways lined green livery with the later style emblem to the tender. The model is of brass construction and has been finished to a reasonable standard. It has real coal in the tender, sprung buffers, vac pipes, screw-link couplings, and etched metal nameplates. The model has been used. It incorporates the tender-style pick-up with a connecting wire between the loco and the tender, which can't be seen because it's below the footplate. There is a reasonable level of detail. Possibly the only point I would raise is that when the model is viewed from the cab, looking forward, the cab floor appears not to be square. Checking the alignment of the chimney and cab roof etc, everything is square in all other respects. Overall, the model is attractive and certainly looks the part. Condition is a good B, possibly slightly better. Comes in its original box.

The model carries the later style British Railways emblem. It is a lovely little model. It is in full working order, it is very heavy so I am guessing it is a combination of brass and white metal. There is actually quite a good level of detail to the model. There is very nice back head detail with all the controls, it looks actually very realistic. It has circular spectacle type brass framed windows which actually open, all four of them, which is rather nice. As with the prototype the buffers on this model are blocks of wood. The construction is actually good. The paint finish not the best I have seen but it is probably slightly weathered and actually looks the part. Condition is a good solid B. Unboxed.

It was actually named 'Hilda' and there is evidence on the model of nameplates having been carried, but unfortunately both are missing. It's an attractive little model and has been reasonably well made and is in working order. It has sprung buffers, chain-link couplings, a nice amount of detail (pipework and springs etc), and the cab roof lifts off to reveal full cab detail. I don't think the model has seen very much use. Condition is a good B to B+. I think it would well worth investing in a pair of nameplates to finish this model off. Unusual subject matter.

O Gauge, 7mm O gauge finescale model of a ex-North Eastern Class J50 0-6-0 Tank Locomotive, No.68917 in British Railways plain black livery with the later style BR emblem. A very purposeful and powerful-looking tank engine. It comes complete with Doncaster works plates and sprung buffers. It does not have cab detail and the gears protrude into the cab although you can't really see them from outside the loco though. The model has been used, but is in fine, working order, and very clean and tidy. It certainly looks the part. Condition is B to B+.

Gauge O, 7mm Fine Scale Model of a Class 24/2 Bo-Bo Diesel Electric Type 2 Locomotive, No. D5134 in British Railways green livery with small yellow warning panels and grey body stripe. Model has been built to a reasonable standard. It is weathered, it has got two motor bogies. It is in working order. It is actually quite a quiet smooth runner. It has seen some considerable use, the model has white metal cast under frame detail and you have to be careful when you pick it up by the boilers because they will squeeze in and come off. The bogie frames are well finished, plenty of detail. The paint finish is reasonable. At least one of the running numbers looks a bit amateurish the other three aren't too bad. The model lacks internal cab detail. Overall I would describe it as a B. It comes in a none original box. It doesn't currently have any couplings although screw link couplings would be an easy addition. It is a white metal kit, D5124 was one of the Scottish allocated class 24's, this particular one being allocated to Inverness.

7mm Gauge O Model of a Churchward Class 45XX 2-6-2 Tank Locomotive, No. 4582 in "Great Western" plain unlined green livery. This is a white metal kit that has been finished to a very high standard. It is extremely heavy. It is fitted with sprung buffers. It has real coal in the tender. The roof is removable to reveal a wonderful back head and all controls, handles and levers which have been fitted including floorboards to the cab floor. There is a raft of detail fitted to the model. It is fitted with a can style motor and plunger style pickups. It is fitted with sand pipes and brake rodding detail. Condition is a very good B+, the only point I can raise is one of the tank fill lids is missing which is a small part that is easily manufactured. Apart from that the model is fine.

O Gauge, or 7mm Fine Scale Model of a Drewry 4 Wheel Rail Car, No. 5 in Southern Railway olive green and cream livery. It is a beautiful model finished with red buffer beams, sprung buffers, chain link couplings, plenty of chassis detail. It has a full compliment of passengers which have been painted extremely well including the driver complete with a rag in his pocket. The model was built by Lawrence Scale Models in 1989 and it has one of their plaques to the chassis. It is in beautiful working order, very attractive model. The prototype was built in 1928 and ran on the Southern until 1934 when it was sold to the West Weston Clevedon and Portishead Railway. I understand they kept it in the same livery and used the same running number. Condition is A-.

Fine Scale, Saint Class 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.2953 "Titley Court" in Great Western lined green livery. Model has the brass safety dome, the copper-capped chimney and copper-capped splashers. I can't decide whether it has been scratch-built or built from a kit - but I think it might be scratch-built. It's a beautiful job. It has a non-compensating chassis with a very large motor. Maybe a Leeds, And it has the American style pick-up system, whereby the power is picked up by one side of the loco and the return is through the other side of the tender. It appears to be haft way between Finescale and Course scale , It has been constructed and finished to a high standard and has sprung buffers and screw-link couplings. The backhead detail is rudimentary. It is a handsome, fine-looking locomotive. The only point I would raise is that a small part of the handrail that goes over the top of the smokebox is missing - the clips are all there, so it would just be a matter of fabricating a small piece of handrail. Overall, I would grade the condition of the loco as B to B+. It is unboxed.

The model has been constructed by David Southwell of Staffordshire to exhibition standards. The cab roof is removable to reveal the backhead detail and planked wooden floor with brake handle etc. There is real coal in the bunker and the model has sprung buffers. It's a highly detailed model with a proper, framed chassis complete with David Southwell Builder plaque underneath the chassis. The model has screw-link couplings and looks exquisite in this livery. Originally constructed by Parker in 1891 for the Great Central Railway, the prototype 9F was built in a total of 12 batches up to 1901, with 131 locos eventually being constructed. They went on to become the Class N5 in the LNER era. A fine model.

O Gauge Finescale Locomotive, ex-GNR N2 Class 0-6-2 Tank Locomotive, No.4762 in LNER lined black livery. Based on the Rising Star model, which dates back to the 1980s I believe, this is a rather nice job. It's in full working order and has the plunger style pick-ups. It has real coal in the tender and backhead detail etc. Two issues to point out though: on one side, the letter 'R' of LNER has become detached and would perhaps need to be 're-transferred'; and secondly, the model has a coat of what looks like a mid-sheen lacquer or varnish that makes the loco look like it is in ex-works condition. But it's a nice model in good condition - very clean and tidy, and crisp. I would grade it as B+. Box condition is B, it's a non-original box

This model has been built from an Andrews kit by David Southwell of Staffordshire. It was built in Feb 2005 and has been constructed to exhibition standard. It's fitted with a Mashima 1833 motor and Romford gearbox. It is an authentic scale model of the popular and versatile Southern loco built at Eastleigh Works in 1930. This example is a scale representation of one of the original batch of 10 built to Maunsell's design. The level of detail is superb, even down to the driver's seat, which folds upwards. Condition is B+ wopuld be better but the paint finish is a little poor ( lightly rough finish) . Box condition is B+. It's currently in an Alan Gibson box, because it fits the model: the original box, when constructed, is too small.

The loco was slightly re-built by the LMS when it was working as a ???? banker. The model is a fine example, in working order, with plenty of detail. It's in clean, sharp condition - I would grade it as B+. The only point is that one of the buffers has come loose and would need to be re-attached, but this should not be problem. And another of the buffers is slightly twisted on the rear buffer beam - again a minor problem. The model currently does not have any couplings although there is provision for the fitting of hooks. It's a nice example.

There are a couple of little marks to the chassis behind the wheels which might require slight touching up with black paint. With the exception of that it is a good looking model. Condition is B+, box condition is B to B+. It comes with the original instructions for the kit and a quantity of unused parts which would be used to convert the loco to BR spec so I understand.
