Gauge 1, Scratch Built (or Hand Built) Class 2P 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.563 in LMS lined black livery. Constructed entirely of metal, including hand-turned wheels etc and heavy gauge running plate, this gauge 1 loco has an impressive amount of extra detailing added to it, including full back head detail with individual copper pipes. Loco is powered by a 12V DC motor and is currently operated by radio control with the actuators and on-board batteries situated in the tender. It is also fitted with a smoke unit, which is also operated by radio control. Model comes with the radio control unit, a five-hour battery charger for the re-chargeable batteries, and smoke oil. And there's a quantity of paperwork appertaining to the radio control equipment. Loco is in fine working order - it has extremely good pulling power and is the ideal loco to accompany the gauge 1 LMS suburban coach stock, which we currently have for sale. Condition is a good B+. The loco is fitted with works plates, which state that it was built at Derby in 1928.
