Hornby, 7mm gauge O tinplate coarse scale model of an 0-4-0 Tank Locomotive, No.82011 in British Railways lined black with the early lion-over-wheel emblem. This is a really nice example in crisp and bright condition. It has seen very little use. It comes with its original key and the mechanism is in full working order. Also comes with test ticket attached to the chimney, a packet of metal lamps, a packet to put the key in, a Hornby guarantee, and some information on laying gauge O track. All of this is contained in original packaging, which is a nice red box with corrugated card in condition B to B+. The loco has a couple of small chips here and there, but it is mostly bright and clean - condition is a good B+, possibly even better.

Hornby Series No.1 Special Clockwork Tank LocomotiveHornby Series No.1 Special Clockwork Tank Locomotive Ref: OHO100020
Hornby, 7mm gauge O coarse scale model of an 0-4-0 Tank Locomotive, No.70 in LMS lined maroon livery. The model is clockwork. It has serif-style lettering. There is a little wear to the 'S' of the LMS on one side, and there are one or two small marks and chips. There is also some chipping around the coupling on the front buffer beam and the paint has begun to wear off the face of the wheels somewhat - and it may be worth touching up, although it's not too bad though. However, the overall impression is pretty bright and clean. Condition is B+. Comes in an original box, which is in excellent condition with just a little wear to one of the corners. It is stamped up 'LMS'. Comes with guarantee slip, instructions and the original corrugated card, which is stamped 'A range of Meccano products'. Made between 1936 and 1941.

Hornby, 7mm gauge O Tinplate coarse scale model of an 0-4-0 Tender Locomotive, No.5600 in LMS lined maroon livery. This is a clockwork model and comes with a key, which is stamped 'Meccano' and it comes in pair of original correctly-labelled boxes. Made between 1936 and 1941, this example really is as good as it's likely to get. Unlike a lot of the other Hornby models, this 501 series was finished in a matt varnish. It is completely unmarked - condition is B+ or better. The box is also in the same B+ or better condition.

Hornby, 7mm gauge O coarse scale tinplate model of an 0-4-0 Tank Locomotive, No.623 in LNER lined black. The model has a brass dome, which dates the model to between 1926 and 1928, as in 1928 the dome was removed. For its age, it is in fantastic condition - there are virtually no scratches on it whatsoever. It's clean and tidy. It has 'Hornby' on the smokebox door. There is a little discolouration of the paint over the letter 'R' on one side, but apart from it is excellent. Condition is easily B, possibly slightly better. It is unboxed unfortunately.

Hornby, 0 gauge (7mm) Tinplate Clockwork 0-4-0 Tender Locomotive, No.60199 in lined British Railways black livery. Loco was manufactured by Hornby from 1954-61 in this format. This particular model is in working order, however it is missing its tender. It's in playworn condition and there is wear to the running numbers and also some of the lining. It's complete with couplings and buffers. I would grade this as a B-. It's unboxed.

Hornby Trains, Gauge O No. 51 Locomotive and Tender, No. 50153 in British Railways lined green livery, the tender carrying the lion over wheel crest. This is an 0-4-0 clockwork locomotive known as the type 51 which was manufactured in 1954 onwards, the model ceased production in 1961. The lion on the emblem faces forward on both sides of the tender. The finish is the shiny or gloss enamel and this example while being used is in reasonably tidy condition just the usual few marks here and there, a couple of little nicks to the lining around the running numbers on one side, with the exception of that quite a bright example. Model comes in a pair of original boxes which are in good condition they are sort of an orange colour. The drive mechanism is clockwork.
