Hornby, from the Great British Trains series of limited edition train packs, this is "The Caledonian" which contains Duchess Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.46244 "King George VI" in British Railways lined green livery with the earlier lion-over-wheels emblem to the tender. With the loco are three later style flush-glazed MkI coaches, comprising two Composites no.M15985 and no.M15993 and a Brake 2nd no.M35099. All three are in British Railways lined maroon livery and carry coachboards that read 'The Caledonian London Glasgow'. The set comes with a set of instructions and a limited edition certificate no.1917 from a run of 3,000. On close inspection, the set has been looks to be unused, unmarked and undamaged condition - easily B+.to A1 The coaches have the later style metal wheels and are all in unused condition. Box condition is B+, possibly slightly better.

Hornby, from the Great British Trains series of Train Packs, this is ' The Royal Scot ' which contains a Gresley A4 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.60034 " Lord Faringdon" in British Railways garter blue livery. The tender which is a corridot type has '' British Railway '' to the side. The livery as at 1948. Loco has a double chimney. With the engine are three Stanier coaches, comprising two Composites no.4028 and no.4024 and a Brake 3rd no.5619 All coaches are in LMS lined maroon livery and carry coach boards which read '' The Royal Scot '' the coaches are in 'un-repainted' condition ( still carrying the LMS motiffs) . There is a quantity of unused detailing parts, instructions and a limited edition certificate no.242 from a run of 2,000 pieces. The set has seen light use only and is unmarked and clean - condition is B+. Box condition is a B (some wear)

Hornby, From the Match Train Series of Train Packs this is "125 High Speed Train 253036". The set comprises 2 Class 43 Power Cars, one powered and one dummy, Nos. W43141 and W43142. Both vehicles are in Intercity blue and grey livery with the pulled back yellow stripe and yellow cab roofs. The set comes with 2 Mk 3 coaches, No. W2284 and W2283 in Intercity blue and grey. About as good as it gets when it comes to condition, I can't see that any of the vehicles have been used they are all in crisp sharp unmarked condition, B+ to A-. Box is also in reasonable condition, a couple of marks around the corners, I would grade the box is a good B, possibly B to B+. Also included are a set of instructions.

Hornby, From the Great British Train Series of Train Packs this is "VR Schools Train Pack". The pack contains a Class V Schools 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender, No. 30902 "Wellington". Loco is finished in British Railways lined green, the tender carries the later style emblem. There are three Mk 1 coaches comprising two brake 2nd and 1 composite which is correct for this set. The composite is No. S15043 and the brakes are No. S34272 and S34721. These are corridor mk 1, they are all finished in British Railways Southern region green livery. The locomotive looks to have been test run ony, beautiful condition, its B+ to A-. The coaches have for some reason been usued, been used, no marks or rubs, Condition of the coaches is B+. The set comes with a set of instructions, unused detailing parts and a limited edition certificate which is No. 1273 of 1500. The box is in great condition a good B+ condition, . The lid is in the same tidy condition.comes in the outer carboard box.

With the loco are three British Railways Mk 1 Coaches, 2 composites No. W15584 and W15583 and a brake 2nd No. W34301. All three coaches carry coach boards which read "Paddington Exeter and Plymouth".
