This pack was released in 2006 as a limited edition, containing a Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.35026 " Lamport & Holt Line " in British Railways lined green livery, with the small version of the early BR emblem. This is the very latest version of the Merchant Navy and is DCC ready. With the loco are three British Railways Mark 1 corridor coaches, 2 composites : S15021 & S15023 and a brake 2nd coach No S34157, all 3 are in British Railways Southern Region green livery. They have coachboards that read ' The Royal Wessex' & 'Waterloo - Weymouth' Also included is a quantity of unused detailing parts, including a metal Headboard 'Royal Wessex' , instructions, a limited edition certificate from a run of 1,500 pieces. The Royal Wessex service commenced on the 3rd May 1951 and was withdrawn at the end of 1967. 'The Royal Wessex' operated from London, Waterloo to Bournemouth, Swanage and Weymouth and was made up of BR Mk1 coaches liveried in the striking BR Southern green of the period from 1957.
