The model does not have any hooks to the couplings. It has been used but the condition is good. The body is still shiny, one or two handling marks. I always thought this model was quite impressive. Condition is a good B. Box is B to B+. It does come with alternative couplings.

I would grade its condition as B, with one or two handling marks on the side, but nothing significant. Comes in an original box, which is in condition B.

Model comes with instructions, a full set of decals for adding the names and numbers to the loco and some alternative couplings. Overall condition is a good B. There are one or two handling marks to the body but nothing too major possibly with the exception of what looks like the varnish has possibly broken down a little bit in one area. Overall I would grade it as a good B. It comes in a box unfortunately missing one end, I can only describe that as C+ to B-.

Jouef, Class 231C 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.231060 in SNCF plain matt black livery. Loco pulls an 8-wheel bogie tender. The previous owner has touched up the running numbers and SNCF symbols in silver paint unfortunately. The model is in what you might describe as in playworn condition and there is surface rust to the buffer shanks and to one or two of the exposed metal parts on the body. It's interesting for what it is. It comes in an original box, which has lost both its end flaps. Loco condition is B- to B. Box condition is B-.

Playcraft, HO Scale Continental Outline Model made by Jouef for Playcraft of a Class 140 2-8-0 Locomotive and Tender, No. 140C-231. The loco is finished in SNCF part lined green livery. Loco also known as a Ouest Consolidation Locomotive. While it has been used it is in nice clean, unmarked condition, I would grade it as a good condition B to B+. The same goes for the box.

Jouef, HO Scale Continental Outline Class 141 2-8-2 Locomotive and Tender, No. 141R-1264 in SNCF plain unlined black livery. This is a tender drive loco. This example is coal fired as opposed to the oil fired variant. The model is in good condition, the only point I would raise is that one of the nuts on the motion has become unscrewed and dropped off and it is only a nut so it would be relatively easy to replace, it is not a soldering job or anything like that. Model has been lightly used but it is in clean tidy condition and I would grade it as a good condition B, possibly B to B+. The box is damaged and a bit grubby, B- on the box. Released around 1969.

It is an attractive locomotive with twin pantographs, the only point I would raise is the surface rust to the metal on the pantographs. Model has been used, condition is a reasonable B. It comes in an original box which is condition B.

Jouef, HO Continental Style Class 141P 2-8-2 Locomotive and Tender, No. 141P109. Loco is finished in SNCF green and black lined livery. This is a mixed traffic locomotive and comes with a tender drive mechanism. The tender is a bogie tender. Model has seen some use but in general terms it is tidy and without marks. Condition is a reasonable B. It comes in a tatty box unfortunately which while it is intact has seen some wear, the cellophane is a bit loose. The model was introduced in 1978.

The model is currently running with chain link style couplings and has full buffer beam detail fitted to both ends. There are some detail items picked out and overall it looks rather nice. It has been renumbered and would have been one of the early named varieties. It has been used, there are a couple of handling marks to the body but generally it is reasonably tidy, I would grade it as a B. It does however come in a Lima box which is incorrect.

Jouef, Class CC71 Co-Co Overhead Electric Locomotive, No.CC7107 in SNCF two-tone green livery. The model carries two pantographs, which are showing surface rust to the exposed metal parts. Also, there is some wear to the running number and SNCF logo, mostly to one side. Still, the model is attractive and I like the colour scheme. Its condition is probably a good B, in a good B condition box. Made in 1966.
