KMR, Midland 2P 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.518 in LMS maroon livery. This model was made around 1952 by KMR (situated in Ardwick, Manchester). I'm not entirely sure whether it was sold as a kit that could be assembled and painted, or whether it was sold ready-to-run. This one certainly does not have a motor. It has a brass chassis and a reasonably well-painted body. The tender appears to have been made from three castings, which are screwed together, leaving a pleasing result. There are one or two pieces missing: one of the overflow pipes on the tender is absent as is one of the steps to the loco. An interesting piece of model railway history. Condition is B to B+. Model is unboxed.

KMR, OO gauge Midland Compound 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.936 in Midland unlined maroon livery. This is a model made by KMR from Ardwick in Manchester. It was built around 1952. It does not currently have a motor but it does have a working chassis with scale wheels, which appear to be quite free running. It's a good job, nice and neat, and the paint finish is good - although whether it has been applied subsequent to manufacture, I really I don't know. Both the tender and loco are stamped on the underside 'KMR'. Overall, I would grade the model as B to B+. It is unboxed.
