Millhome Models MM2Millhome Models MM2 Ref: KIT100113
Millhome Models, OO gauge white metal kit built model of an ex-LMS Patriot Class 5XP 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.45517 in British Railways lined green with the later style emblem to the tender. The model depicts one of the class that ran without a name. The model, as tested, runs extremely smoothly and quietly. The engine is permanently connected to the tender and there are pick-ups on some of the tender wheels. Coal has been added to the tender. The model has not been built to the finest standards. The finescale chassis is nice, but the paint job is a bit heavy and the boiler doesn't look quite level. It has Hornby Dublo style couplings at both ends. Overall condition is B. Comes in its original box with instructions.
Price: £60.00 / $106.20

Nu-Cast NC132Nu-Cast NC132 Ref: KIT100114
Nu-Cast, OO gauge white metal kit built model of an ex-LNER/NBR Class 16 4-4-2 Tank Locomotive, No.67474 in British Railways mixed traffic lined black livery with the early lion-over-wheel emblem to the tank sides. This particular loco was used for suburban work and is fitted with condenser equipment either side of the smoke box. It's an interesting subject - that has been reasonably well made. The chassis is finescale and it runs extremely well. The body is a little heavily constructed. The weathered paint finish looks OK. There's coal in the tender, vac pipes, buffer beam detail at the front end, and there are no couplings currently on the model. Condition is B. Comes in its original box, which is in condition B.
Price: £60.00 / $106.20

Kit Built, built up from a DC kit, this is a Gloucester RC&W Parcel Car, No.W55994 in British Railways green livery with two white body stripes. This model is been gangwayed version and it has headcodes that read 3H49 and 1C32. It is powered by a B7 Black Beetle motor bogie. It has added buffer beam detail and has been lightly weathered. It looks superb. The only thing I would point out is that the body is currently loose on the chassis and would have to be attached - but this is a simple matter. Apart from that, the model is lovely - condition is B+. Comes in a Hornby box, which is in condition B+.
Price: £110.00 / $194.70

It's impossible to know whether everything is here, but I'm assuming it is. Condition is B to B+. The original box is in condition B.

It has got crystal type head lights which are very effective and there is a full complement of fully painted passengers and crew. Kit Built, This is a white metal kit built locomotive ex-LNWR class G1 6F 0-8-0 Tender Locomotive, No. 9196 in LMS unlined black livery. This is a fine model, it is well made, well executed and well painted. It has got sprung buffers, it has got the correct spoked wheels. The wheels and the motion are slightly weathered. It has got a kit built chassis, plenty of back head detail and pipe work etc. Powerful looking model, it comes with screw link couplings front and rear and the tender has vac pipes and a lamp to the rear. It looks excellent. Condition is B+. It comes in a box, I am not sure whether it is the original or not, probably not.

Wills Fine Cast F135.Wills Fine Cast F135. Ref: KIT100092
Wills, OO Gauge Kit Built Model of a Great Western Railway County Class 4-4-0 Locomotive and Tender, No. 3812 "County of Cardigan". Locomotive is finished in Great Western lined green livery. Model is a white metal body kit which has been finished to a good standard. The chimney is copper capped. It is running on what appears to be a Tri-ang chassis. The model is wired up with tender pick up so I am guessing it is using the American system. It is fitted with real coal which looks extremely effective. The model overall is nice. The painting is done well, it is attractive and it is fitted with etched metal nameplates and number plates, one of which is slightly lob sided. There is a nick to the lining on both sides on the cylinder covers but in all other respects a tidy example. Condition is B to B+ in an original box. It does come with a quantity of spare parts, little bits and pieces, extra detailing parts possibly.
Price: £120.00 / $212.40

The model is unnumbered but is fully lined out in GWR green livery with copper capped chimney and brass safety valve. The model currently has no couplings fitted. It is a white metal kit built loco. It has real coal in the bunker. It is finished to a good standard and it is also painted to a good standard, quite bright looking. I would grade it as a good B to B+. It comes in an original box. Model is fitted with a Tri-ang 0-6-0 chassis which is in working order. Nice and weighty.

Kit Built Locomotive.Kit Built Locomotive. Ref: KIT100093
Kit Built, Class 7P Princess Royal 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No. 462208 "Princess Helena Victoria". Loco is finished in British Railways express passenger lined blue livery. The tender carries the early lion over wheel emblem. This is a white metal kit built locomotive which has been made to a very high standard. Both the construction, finish, detailing and painting is all of equal standard and the model is a delight. It has back head detail, coal in the tender, the paint finish is very good. The only point I would raise is one of the name plates is missing from one side of the loco which would be an easy matter to find a replacement. The front buffer beam has all the appropriate detail including screw link couplings. The tender has the bar only from a what appears to be a Bachmann or an Airfix style coupling. Lovely loco, I am not entirely sure which kit it is based on. It comes in a DJH box but I don't believe that is the correct box for the model. The tender is semi permanently coupled to the loco. There is electrical pick up from the tender as well as the engine.
Price: £175.00 / $309.75

Wills FinecastWills Finecast Ref: KIT100090
Wills Finecast, GWR Prairie 2-6-2 Tank Locomotive, No.5542 in 'Great Western' plain green livery. This is white metal kit-built loco. It has been assembled reasonably well. It has a slight gloss to the finish and is slightly heavily painted, but with that exception, it's not a bad example. It has screw-link couplings to the front end with lamps fitted to the buffer beam. I would grade its overall condition as a good solid B. It does work and we've had it running here in the office. Box condition is B-, showing signs of wear.
