Lima, Class 31 A1A Diesel Electric Type 2 Locomotive, No. 31019 in British Rail corporate blue. This example has the pale grey roof and red buffer beam. It is one of the early Class 31's or skinheads as they are popularly known as. This example has seen virtually no use, it is in lovely unmarked condition, very crisp and tidy. It has had the handrails fitted either by the factory or I am not sure they are done extremely well. Condition again is spot on. Box condition is B+ or better.

On one side, there is a very slight amount of adhesive showing around the edge of the nameplates - but this doesn't detract greatly from the model. Condition is B to B+. Comes complete with vacuum pipes, front and rear. The only problem is that the chassis seems to have bowed slightly and the area under one of the pannier tanks is slightly bowed. I think this could be due to either the model not sitting on its chassis correctly or perhaps the metal weight inside the body is forcing the chassis downwards. Because of the distortion, I can only grade the model's condition as B-. Box condition is B to B+.
