Mainline Railways, a really nice item from Mainline, this is an 'Open/Closed' display to go on the door of a shop in the style of a pair of columns over which are the words 'Mainline Railways'. There is a circular piece of card on the back of the display, which rotates showing either 'Closed' or 'Open'. It still has the protective paper over the sticky side, so it's unused. Condition is B+.

Mainline, rescued from a shop at the beginning of the 1980s, this is a Mainline Railways shop Display Case. It is made from plastic and is approx 64cms wide by about 61cms tall. It sits on two plastic feet and it has holes in the back for hanging on the wall, which I think is the best place to put it, as it's a bit top-heavy. I'm sure it would have been on the wall in the shop. The whole of the front of the display case lifts up on hinges to reveal five shelves, all of which have a charming monochrome backdrop of railway theme including stations, signals, bridges, signal boxes etc. There is probably room for three tender locos per shelf. It's in marvellous, original condition. On the front of the cabinet is "Mainline Railways" with the Mainline colour scheme of black with red and yellow lining. I can see no marks or blemishes - it's just a matter of putting it straight on the wall. It is quite heavy, but because it's made entirely of plastic, I'm sure it could be packaged well enough to be sent through the post.

Mainline Railways, a Window Sticker, which would have been given to Mainline Railways stockists. This one reads 'Mainline Railways Official Stockist'. It's about 16 cms wide by approximately 18 cms high. It is in excellent condition and still has its backing paper - so it can still be stuck to a window.
