Hornby, 9F Class 2-10-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.92086 in British Railways unlined black livery with the later style emblem to the large type tender. The model has been massively weathered and has had overhead warning decals applied. It has been re-numbered and extra detailing (such as lamps) has been applied to the buffer beams. It looks incredible and real coal has been put in the tender. Additional weight has been added and screw-link couplings have been attached to the front of the loco. Crew have also been fitted and the tender has extra detailing too. Condition is B. Box condition is B.
Price: £75.00 / $141.75

Hornby, 60XX King Class 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.6002 "King William IV" in British Railways lined Brunswick green. The loco has a double chimney. Crew have been fitted. I would say that the model has either been re-painted or lightly varnished to give it a bit more of a sheen. It has also been re-named and re-numbered with etched metal plates. Detailing has been added - drainpipes under the cylinders for example, and coal has been added to the tender. The loco has screw-link couplings at the front and vac pipes, lamps and smokebox number plate have been fitted too. A reasonable job has been done - it looks very attractive. The coupling hook is missing from the tender. Condition is B to B+. The box is falling apart and the end flap is Sellotaped up. Box condition is B-.
Price: £49.50 / $93.56

Hornby, Class 7MT Britannia Pacific 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.70019 "Lightning" in British Railways lined passenger green with the later style emblem to the tender. The model has been re-named and re-numbered. The nameplates are of the etched metal variety. The model has an over-painted roof and has had a light sheen varnish applied overall. The tender has had real coal added and the buffers have been weathered. The loco has been very lightly weathered. It has train-reporting numbers, 734, at the front end and a lamp has been fitted. Buffer beam detail includes screw-link couplings. The model looks a little drab - I would describe its condition as B. But it's an interesting attempt. Comes in a tatty box, which is in condition C+.

Detail has been added to the front buffer beam - lamps etc. Coal has been added to the tender. It certainly looks good and has been slightly weathered. Condition is a good B. Box condition is B to B+. Comes with instructions. An interesting model.

Hornby, Ex LMS Class 3F Jinty 0-6-0 Tank Locomotive, No. 47646 in British Railways plain black. The loco carries the later style emblem. The model has been split from a set which was produced during 2006 and has a factory fitted chip. It is in full working order, it has been lightly used. It is a little bit on the grubby side on the top, perhaps a little cleaning would come in useful. Apart from that though not a bad model, condition is a good B, possibly B to B+. It is however unboxed.

Hornby, Princess Royal Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No. 46212 "Duchess of Kent". Loco is in British Railways lined green. The tender carries the early lion over wheel emblem. Having a close look at the model I believe it hasn't been used, it is certainly as new condition, A-. The only point I would raise is the tender has the early lion over wheel emblem whereas the illustration on the box shows the tender having a later BR emblem. Now it is obvious to me that the tender has probably been swapped at some point. The model comes with a set of instructions and a quantity of unused detailing parts. Condition is A-. Box condition is B+.

Hornby, Princess Royal Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.46209 "Princess Beatrice" in British Railways lined passenger green livery with the early lion-over-wheel emblem to the tender. The model has had a lamp fitted to the front buffer beam and crew have also been painted and fitted, which look good. It has seen some use - the front bogie wheels are dirty, but the main driving wheels aren't. The tender has had coal added, which looks good. I would grade the model's condition as a good, solid B, possibly slightly better. Comes with instructions in an original box, which is showing some wear around the corners, but apart from that it is intact. Box condition is B.

Hornby, ex-LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No.45292 in British Railways lined black livery with 'British Railways' to the tender sides. The loco is missing its cab glazing for some reason. A little rub to the smokebox door can be seen when viewing the loco from the front, but I'm pretty certain this will clean out, it's not significant. Apart from that, the model is reasonably sharp and clean. One of the handrails on the tender has come off - the part is inside the packaging and would need to be re-attached. It is a limited edition model and comes with certificate no.395 from a run of 1,500. Condition is B to B+. Also included are instructions dated 1998 and unused detailing parts.
