Model has seen little use, is a great example, clean and unmarked. Condition B+ Box B to B+ ( Note a lable has been stuck on box lid leaving a mark) Features include five pole skew wound loco drive motor, sprung buffers and cab detail. NOTE: there are no instructions are detailing parts present.

The Duchess was designed by Sir William Stanier and first entered service in 1944. The eventual number built was 38. Its primary purpose was heavy express passenger work .

I would grade its condition as B+. , and in an original box, which is in condition B+. (note : there are 3 chips to the bottom edge of the tender where it sits on the tender chassis- a common problem with this design)

Comes in an original box, with instructions dated 26/1/77, and unused detailing parts. The box is showing signs of wear, with a tear to one end flap, but it is intact. Box condition is B, possibly a little better.
