"The Wrenn Directory", including selected auction prices from 1966 to 1992. This is a loose-leaf publication with over 40 pages, full of information, price guides, etc about Wrenn. Unfortunately, a few things have been marked in felt-tip - and maybe around half a dozen pages have been affected. Condition is B-, because of the marks, apart from these it is tidy.

Story of Rovex Volume 1Story of Rovex Volume 1 Ref: BO600034
"Triang Railways: The Story of Rovex Volume 1 1950-1965". This is the revised edition of Pat Hammond's magnum opus with 32 extra pages and over 80 new images. Book runs to well over 400 pages and is an absolute must for Triang collectors. This example has been used and there are a couple of fingerprints to the frontispiece - but with the exception of that it is tidy. The dust jacket is a little worn around the edges, but nothing excessive. I would grade the book as B to B+, and the jacket as B.

Hornby ' The story of Rovex Volume 3 1972-1996 ' Hornby ' The story of Rovex Volume 3 1972-1996 ' Ref: BO600032
Brand new still sealed in cellophane . In this, the final volume in the series, Pat Hammond traces the product, now called Hornby Railways, under DCM ownership from 1972 until their collapse in the early 1980s. It takes the reader through the highly productive years of the 1980s and 1990s to the inevitable outsourcing in the Far East. Over 600 locomotive variations were produced during this time as well as numerous coaches, wagons, buildings, etc., all of which are illustrated in this book. The final chapter includes Thomas the Tank Engine, Hornby Minitrix and many others products that were produced or sold alongside Hornby Railways. The first two books in this Rovex story trilogy are Tri-Ang Railways Volume 1 which covers the story from 1950 to 1965, and Tri-Ang Hornby Volume 2, 1965 to 1971. This last book takes the story from 1972 until 1996.

Triang Railways The First Ten YearsTriang Railways The First Ten Years Ref: BO600030
Triang Railways, released as RT208 in 1962, this 116-page book takes a look at the Triang range with peeps at the factory and some interesting photographs of product design etc. The book is in reasonable condition - there is sign of wear to the spine and a couple of little marks to the cover but nothing excessive. There is the name of the previous owner in ink on the inside cover, but with the exception of that it is unmarked and in nice, clean condition. I would grade it as a good B.
Price: £15.00 / $22.50

There are some great photographs of the factory and of the prototypes. It is used copy - the dust jacket has a tiny 1cm tear to the front and the pages have been quite well thumbed, although overall I would say its condition is B, possibly a little better.

Triang Hornby, this is the 'Triang Hornby Book of Trains' with 64 pages written by O S Nock. I'm not sure of the date of publication, but I'd guess somewhere in the late 1960s. It is priced at 5/-. It's a lovely book in great condition. The cover could do with a slight clean, but with the exception of that it is nice and crisp.
