Trix Twin, Train Set "Passenger Train Set BR". This is quite simply the best Trix train set in terms of condition I have ever encountered. The box looks like it was made yesterday - truly incredible. The set contains the following: an AC 0-4-0 Tender Locomotive, No.60089 in British Railways lined green livery with the early lion-over-wheel emblem; three Passenger Coaches including two Brake 3rd Coaches no.27104, and a 1st Class Coach no.4135, all in British Railways red and cream livery. The contents are in fantastic condition. I think the loco may have been used a couple of times - there is wear to the pick-up shoes so it has been used, but looked after. There is very slight wear to the bottom of the '6' on the running number on one side, but apart from that the condition of the loco is A-. The glazing panels on the coaches have slight damage at both ends, but I think that is down to shrinkage rather than to any damage suffered. Condition of the coaches is B+. The inner box is in fantastic condition and comes with all the card and wooden inserts. Also included is a controller. There is also another box, which contains two packs of collector shoes for the loco and a little packet with a suppressor in it. There is additional space in the box, which is covered with display card, where there would be room to place a second train. Box condition is A-, I can't imagine seeing a better one, and it even comes with its outer cardboard Trix Twin Railway sleeve, which is also intact.
