Modern Traction Kits, A Two Car First Generation DMU comprising powered car No. M50625 and non powered trailer No. M562211. Both vehicles are made from aluminium body panels, they have been painted in British Railways lined green livery and destination boards reads Chester and Shrewsbury. The unit runs well, its construction is a little on the heavy side and the painting finish is again a little on the heavy side, it would almost be worth stripping it back and repainting it. Interesting subject matter, the coaches have interiors, I would grade them both as B-. It is however in running order. It is a non original MTK box.

Modern Traction Kits, an unmade kit of a long type 2-Car Derby DMU. The kit bodies appear to be alloy. There's a large quantity of parts, which are still sealed in their plastic bags, including wheels. But there are no motor bogies, which would have to be obtained separately. Model appears to be complete, with instructions. I would grade its condition as B+ to A-. Box condition is B.

Modern Traction Kits, a model of a 2-Car Cravens DMU, comprising Power Car No.M50480 and Trailer Car No.M50807 in British Railways lined green livery with 'speed whiskers' to the front of the vehicles. They carry headcodes that read C4 and B6, and destination boards that read Chester and Ipswich. The power car has a black roof while the trailer car has a pale green-grey roof. The power car has a ????? power bogie, which is in operational order. The build quality is certainly not the best I've seen - it's what you might say 'heavily built'. They both have painted interiors - the power car looks better than the trailer for some reason. But they could be the basis of a re-paint, perhaps some additional work to bring these unusual, quite desirable DMU sets up to scratch. Both vehicles are fitted with detailed buffer beams. There is a brass strip that will semi-permanently connect the two vehicles. Overall, condition is B- to B. Box condition is B- to B.
