Ex-JOUEF PANTOGRAPHS Ideal Triang Replacement Ref: ATR500021
These have been assembled from surplus components and may be a little stiff. A few minutes work will have them operating smoothly - don't be tempted to change the spring! The single wires supporting the head easily spring out of the side frames: ensure that each wire is bent to a sharp right-angle and that the sideways thrust is just enough to keep the assembly together. A pair of small pliers will enable necessary adjustments to be made. The "rise" of the pantograph is governed by the centre tab each side of the baseplate - bend down very slightly to increase the "rise".

For Triang locos which have a 4 point mounting, you'll need to make an adaptor. The base off a broken Triang unit could be cut down and used, or a special piece made up. If you want working power supply via the pantograph, ensure there's metal-to-metal contact down as far as the changeover switch, or if necessary solder a thin wire to the frame of the Jouef unit.
