Trix Trains, Gresley A4 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.60027 "Merlin" in British Railways lined green livery with the later style BR emblem to the corridor tender. The loco has a double chimney. A very substantially built model in typical Trix style, this example has a tender drive and the loco body has lots of extra weight in it so it is very heavy. The tender has Hornby Dublo-style couplings and there are pick-ups on the loco as well as the tender so there is a wire connection between the two vehicles. The model has seen very little use -a good clean example, there is a small mark/rub which might clean out on the tender side, along with a small ding to the handrail next to it. (minor). A lovely example - condition is B+ or better. Comes in an original Trix Trains box. Cellphane is damaged.

Trix Trains 1180.Trix Trains 1180. Ref: TRX100166
Trix, A3 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender "Flying Scotsman". Loco is in LNER lined green livery. This version has the motor in the tender. It is fitted with what looks to be a damaged set of Trix couplings to the tender and no couplings to the loco. The model has had its insignia removed and the running number has also been removed from the cab so it is running without identification with exception of the name. It is a reasonably well used example, apart from the couplings as far as I can see there is no damage or any marks. It is probably right for renaming and renumbering. Overall condition is B. It comes in a transitional box which is the plain white card box, one end of the box is missing its end flaps.

Trix Twin Railways No. 244.Trix Twin Railways No. 244. Ref: TRX100165
Trix, 0-6-0 Ruston and Hornsby in lined green livery. The model has a silver roof with a Ruston emblem to the front bonnet. It has two spotlights which are both intact and is set up for two rail use. This example has scale wheels which is rather unusual. There is a small amount of chipping to the steps on the black chassis but with the exception of that it is actually a tidy example. It comes in a nice original box with all the original packing pieces and a set of instructions. Additionally there is a shunters wagon in grey which is not in quite as nice a condition as the loco, it is a little bit on the grubby side and could benefit from a clean and the handrails are bent in one or two places. I would only be able to grade that as a B- to B. The loco is B+ and the box is B to B+.

Trix, HO Scale Ruston Hornsby 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter. Model is finished in lined green livery, it has red buffer beams and it is a two rail example. It was only made for a short period of time from 1958 through to 1961. It comes with the correct shunters truck which is in black with a super structure which like all the other examples I have seen is warped. The truck itself is a bit on the grubby side. The loco itself is in lovely condition, both the lamps are intact with a tiny amount of chipping to the running board but in general terms, clean, tidy example. It comes in a nice original box with all the original packaging and a clean unmarked set of instructions.

Trix Twin Railways 237.Trix Twin Railways 237. Ref: TRX100158
Trix Twin, Class FiVe 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No. 70000 in lined British Railways black livery. The tender carries the later style emblem. This is a two rail scale wheel example, it is quite a battered one, plenty of chippings to the body particularly to the tender which doesn't seem to have faired as well as the loco. The running numbers are in fine condition with perhaps a little touching up the model will be more than acceptable. It comes in a nice original box complete with all inner packing materials and a set of instructions. Condition of the loco is a really good B. Box condition is B to B+.

Trix, Class 5600 Collett 0-6-2 Tank Locomotive in HO Gauge, No. 6664 in British Railways lined black livery. The tanker carries the later style emblem. This is a two rail locomotive fitted with scale wheels dating to about 1959/1960. It is in good condition for its age, there is an amount of chipping to the edge mostly of the tanks particularly to one side, the other side isn't too bad. Loco is probably B to B+ condition, not bad. It comes in a lovely original box with original packing and a nice clean set of instructions.

Trix Trains No. 244.Trix Trains No. 244. Ref: TRX100149
Trix, Ruston Hornsby HO Gauge 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter Locomotive in lined green livery. This is a 3rd rail variant although reasonably easy to convert. It is a model that has been used, it is in working order. Its front headlight and rear headlight are both intact, both of which are prone to breaking off. There is wear to the paintwork, both logo's to the cab sides are considerably worn. Still its overall impression is reasonably tidy. It comes with its shunter truck, the plastic top of which is showing signs of warping. I have never seen one that isn't in this condition, the couplings and buffers are showing signs of surface rust are as the axles. Condition of the loco is a good B, the shunters truck is B-. It comes in an original box which is showing signs of fading and the label to one end is torn although legible. Made from 1958 to 1961. Hard to find.

Trix, A3 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No. 4472 "Flying Scotsman". Loco is in lined LNER green livery, it has a single chimney and a banjo dome. This version has loco drive 2 wheel, it was probably made around 1968. It is in working order, it is a tidy example, there are no specific marks or rubs, easily a B to B+. It comes in a nice original yellow Trix box, condition B. It also comes with a set of instructions.

Trix-Liliput, A3 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.4472 "Flying Scotsman" in LNER Doncaster green livery. This model has the motor in the tender and the tender handrails at the front of the vehicle. It is in lovely, unmarked condition, and judging by the state of the wheels, I would day that it has not been run. Condition is A-. Box condition is B to B+. It's the fake wood style Liliput box.

Trix, Ruston Hornsby 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter Locomotive and Shunters Truck Set. Made from 1958 to 1961, this example is a 3-rail version although it is relatively easy to convert to 2-rail. The loco is in lined green livery with a Ruston Hornsby motif to the cab sides and Ruston nameplate to the bonnet. The model features two lamps - one on the bonnet and one on the rear cab, both of which are intact. The model has been used, and there is some paint loss particularly to the cab, and there are also chips to the edges of the steps and bonnet. Although this sounds bad, the model looks reasonably sharp. It's in fine working order. The Shunters Truck suffers from bowing - although I haven't come across one that hasn't - but this one is particularly bowed, but it is intact. A nice little set. Condition of the loco is B and the Shunters truck is B-. Comes in a non-original box.

Trix Twin, Ruston & Hornsby 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter Locomotive in lined green livery. Manufactured by Trix from 1958 to 1961. This example is set up for use on a 3-rail system. The headlight on the bonnet of the loco is intact - they frequently get snapped off. The model is in working order, it's in play worn condition and there is quite a bit of chipping to the paintwork. Both the Ruston & Hornsby logos are intact to both sides of the cab doors. It's a lovely little model and I would grade it as a nice usable condition B. It's unboxed.

Trix, A3 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.4472 "Flying Scotsman" in LNER pale apple green livery. The loco has had its cylinder covers picked out in a slightly darker green possibly and also has a pair of lamps fitted above the buffer beam. It's a pick up from the tender, motor drive is in the locomotive body and tender has Peco style couplings. Loco is in generally reasonable condition. The rails that run along the bottom of the tender are broken on one side, which is a very common problem, but apart from that it's a used example that isn't too bad. Overall I would grade the loco and tender as B. The box is a well used example, one corner has parted and it's a bit grubby - I would say that was a B-.

Trix Liliput, Class A3 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.4472 "Flying Scotsman" in lined LNER green livery. This particular model has the motor in the tender. There is a minute crack to one of the brake rails on the tender but it can't be easily seen. The handrail to the locomotive is squeezed in at one point and would need straightening. General condition is B, possibly B+. Box condition B. With a set of instructions.
