Airfix

One of the oldest UK manufacturers of plastic scale model kits (producing kits for the mass market since 1952).  Airfix produces a wide range of kits aimed at all types of scale modellers with subjects such as; military aircraft, ships, cars, dioramas and military vehicles.

The name Airfix was chosen because part of their process involved fixing air into products but also the founder’s belief that successful businesses should have their name at the beginning of business directories.

Though Airfix tends to focus mainly on aviation pieces, we do stock some great model railway pieces of theirs.
