Class 74 Bo-Bo Electro Diesel, 74001 in British Rail Corporate Blue livery with full yellow ends rebuilt from the Southern Regions Class 71 electric locomotives in 1967-8 at Crewe Works, The Class 74's were 1st allocated to Eastleigh depot and were always used on the South Western Division of the Southern Region, they had Multiple control Jumper cables allowing them to work with many of the regions EMU rolling stock. With changing traction requirements and poor reliability meant the class 74's had a short working life all gone by 1977, A Silver Fox Model With a hand finished and spray painted resin body, this model is fitted to a new Hornby modified chassis.
