Hornby Dublo 2226, Duchess Class 4-6-2 Loco & Tender, No.46245

Hornby Dublo, Duchess Class 4-6-2 Locomotive and Tender, No.46245 "City of London" in British Railways part-lined maroon livery with the later style BR emblem to the tender.

This is a 2-rail loco that was made between 1959 and 1964.

This example is clean and tidy with a little chipping to the edge of the cab roof.

There is a nick the boiler lining in one place some minor chipping wear the tender and loco come together.

The lining to the running plate has been touched up in certain places -quite neat though.

The tender is the unlined variant and is in generally good, clean condition.

The model comes in an original red-stripe box, which is in B condition.

NOTE: box is tatty  and worn does have marks where the cellotape has been removed and a pen mark to lid.
