Just five days from Manchester to Lake Ontario. It sometimes takes that long from New York City.

The coaches arrived this morning - everything in perfect condition. THANK YOU for the excellent packaging and also the speed of delivery (you must hardly have had time to clear my cheque, though I can assure you the cheque is a good one!).
 
I AM ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED WITH THE COACHES!!!  And thank you also for the cd / auction catalogue and the BR Modelling supplement on David Jenkinsons Kendal branch.
 
I attended the original sale and bid for lot 22, but pulled out as bidding rose to save my money for later lots, one of which ( the 4 London-Manchester Express coaches)  I did manage to secure later in the sale. The BR supplement also contains a picture of these coaches as well as 'your' lot 22 pair, so it will be especially prized.
 
It has been delightful to deal with you  and I hope to do so again. If any David Jenkinson items or pieces by Larry Goddard (who still paints the occasional 7mm coach for me) ever come up, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

    Just to let you know that the model "Evening Star" has duly reached my uncle in Western Australia. 
         He 'phoned yesterday to let me know and is very pleased with it.  He will really appreciate it as he was a life-long railwayman (ex GWR signalman and later in the Booking Office at Cardiff General until 1984).   Furthermore, I recall that "Evening Star" ended her days allocated to Cardiff Canton, so he probably saw her really earning her keep (briefly).
